The Westcliff Hotel, situated in Johannesburg’s most exclusive residential suburb, had recently finished refurbishing and asked the Frameworx team to come in and capture the new look bedrooms (including the Presidential Suite), Polo Bar, La Belle Terrasse, Spa and a variety of exterior “hero” shots showcasing its prime hillside setting with it’s beautiful cascading, sculpted gardens.

Refurbished Mount Nelson Rooms

The Mount Nelson Hotel recently refurbished some of their rooms and asked us to come and shoot the new suites so they could update their portfolio. The emphasis was on “morning freshness” so we shot at sunrise using high dynamic range techniques and later blended the different exposures in post.

Planet Restaurant

The Cape Colony Restaurant at the Mount Nelson Hotel was recently refurbished into the extremely plush Planet Restaurant, with a galaxy-themed interior decor comprising of a striking chandelier, a crystal-studded entrance, and a finely woven carpet at your feet. When photography was needed, Frameworx Studios was once again called upon to shoot a gallery that would capture the mood and ambiance of this world class culinary establishment.

“Who Am I?….Transgressions”

“Who Am I? – Transgressions” is the title of a series of photo-works by South African photographer Gordon Clark and artist Leon Botha. Frameworx Studios was approached by Gordon and tasked to visually enhance his images by grading and compositing CG elements into his original photo’s.

Hout Bay Manor

Our most recent shoot, Hout Bay Manor, is a historical architectural landmark situated in the serene seaside fishing village of Hout Bay, Cape Town. Renowned for its 5 star boutique accommodation the manor provides luxurious individually designed rooms, bespoke fine dining at signature restaurant Pure, and the ultimate pampering experience at their Wellness Suite Inzolo.

The Hamilton, Grosvenor Avenue

Rockwood Farm Panoramic

Rockwood, is a protea farm in the Cederberg, approximately one and a half hours drive from Cape Town. The farm has self-catering accommodation, and is situated on some of the most spectacular land South Africa has to showcase. There are many walking trails available to the visitor, one of them, to a magnificent waterfall on their neighboring farm.

Mount Nelson Photography

Frameworx was recently asked to do a photographic shoot for the Mount Nelson, showcasing some of the exteriors, including their extensive gardens, the pools and their famous palm avenue. Whilst we were there, we decided to also do a VR tour, making it possible for the viewer to further explore and fully immerse themselves in to these beautiful environments.
