Project Description

We took a drive up to Franschhoek with the intention to shoot a panoramic of the entire Franchhoek valley. We had checked out the intended shoot location on Google Earth to try figure out whether there were any trails we could climb. As it turns out there were none, so we hacked our way up through the dense vegetation, climbed a couple steep rock faces and walked along the ridge of the chosen peak to reach a good vantage point. We then set up and waited for the right light. After shooting a couple spins, we packed up and headed back down as the sun was setting, needless to say it was a rather interesting trip back in the dark!
