What We Do
Through our extensive experience in world-class CGI and compositing, we’re able to translate your ideas and concepts into photo-real imagery.
We stay involved throughout the process – from initial concept design and story boarding to supervising VFX shots on location, and finally nurturing the work through our post-production pipeline until final delivery.

Compositing is the final stage in the post production pipeline where all the elements are brought together to create a seamless visual which looks as though it was captured on set without any need for post production.
The original plate (what was actually shot in camera) is combined with 3D elements, matte paintings, FX elements and a number of other plates. This is achieved by utilising techniques such as Rotoscoping, Matte extraction, Z-Channels, Keying, Blue/Green screen, Wire Removal, Tracking, Colour Grading, Light Wrapping, Lens Warps and various Film Effects.
Using 3D, the imagination can really be set free. Any object or environment can be created, be it for a stylized or photo-real look. The artist usually begins by modeling a “wireframe” of whatever he wishes to create. The wireframe is then fleshed out by adding a texture and shader to it. This determines how the object appears, when interacting with light. For the final look, the scene needs to be rendered. Once rendered, the files are usually passed on to the compositor, who then combines all the elements.
HDRI (High Dynamic Range Imagery) is a set of techniques that allow a greater dynamic range of luminances between light and dark areas of a scene than normal digital imaging techniques or photographic prints. This wider dynamic range allows HDR images to represent more accurately the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to faint starlight.
Frameworx is fully equipped to shoot accurate HDR imagery to be unwrapped and ready for your 3D environment. Our equipment includes computer controlled pano heads, 8 & 15mm fisheye lenses, mirror balls, full frame high resolution camera bodies, cable and wireless releases, and a bunch of the latest software tools.
We undertake a broad range of photographic commissions and have worked with many different types of clients including media agencies, government agencies, large and small businesses, hotel groups and sporting events. As you can see from our online portfolio, we produce exciting and highly creative work – all delivered with a unique and contemporary style.
Our work can be tailored to suit your creative vision and requirements. We use state of the art Canon equipment and a variety of RAW processes and image-editing packages.

Utilising the latest advances in technology, Frameworx is able to create for you breath taking 360° panoramics of your chosen location. The visuals are quick to load and allow you to freely move in all directions, as well as zooming in and zooming out functionality. “Hot Spots” can be created which allows the user to change location within the panoramic and view the same scene from a fresh and new angle.
Please take a look at our recent samples for a true 360° panoramic experience!
Shoots have the potential of turning into daunting ventures that seem to quickly acquire a mind and momentum of their own. Having a VFX on-set supervisor eliminates problems that could become costly in the post-production stages.
With our thorough understanding of what needs to be achieved on set, we work with the director and/or photographer to ensure a trouble-free on-set experience with a smooth transition into post production.
